I know you already answered this question before, but I am having a big dilemma choosing between calcbased and noncalcbased physics. I think the advantages for taking calcbased is that the med schools will respect the fact that Im taking the more difficult class...yet Im taking orgo and genetics anyway. Also, maybe calcbased can help for the mcats? Im not exactly sure. Im assuming non-calcbased physics should be easier, but I know that physics is supposed to be hard no matter what. So do you suggest calcbased or noncalc based physics...considering my other courseload. If anyone can help...I just want to know if calcbased physics would actually be that much more difficult than regular physics.

P.S. I have a decent background in calculus.

I suspect that this kind of micromanaging your college experience to try to figure out what med schools want may serve some inner purpose but is probably unnecessary. My advice would be to complete the requirements, do well in those courses, and spend time trying to enjoy college academically and socially.

It doesn't matter which one you take. Just make an A.
