I'm going to be a senior in High School and I'm wondering what colleges would be good to go to as a prerequisit to medical school. Any input would greatly help!! Thanks!

I think that you should pick what college you want to go to regardless of the idea of whether it is good for medical school. Depending on the types of classes and fields that are interesting to you, you'll want to select a school that has a good reputation in that area. It is probably good to know if they have a lot of students who are pre-med, but this may not necessarily work in your favor - I got a sense at Emory that a lot of the pre-med classes were "weed-out" classes with the idea that they were overly tough, so that people who are not both smart and willing to work hard will give up and choose another field. Perhaps this is a good process, as medical school is far harder than college regarding the volume and complexity of information.
In the end, I think that most medical schools don't put too much weight on where you went to college. I do think that some of the IVY league med schools will only accept people from the top colleges though, but that seems to be the exception.
So, select a college the same way anyone who is not pre-med would - pick the location you like, the size of the school that interests you, the cost that you are willing to tolerate, and schools with strong departments in the areas of interest to you.
